Educated privately, Jane spent a year in Paris studying French Literature and History of Art, following by London University where she read English and Philosophy. During this time she also became an “apprentice” to an Italian antique restorer in London specialising in painted and gilded furniture, japan/lacquer work and some picture/frame restoration.
Then she spent a few years as a director of a creative advertising agency, running the production department, creating advertising campaigns and television commercials for prestigious companies.

This mixed background of modern applications, commercial requirements and the strict budget necessities of advertising, together with the more traditional and historial influences of her education and the “hard, practical graft” in antique restoration have all become assets which she has brought in to her Interior Design work.
